		<description>Complying with the standardization juggernaut not only pushes out the most at risk students but it reorders the priority of education to become totally focused on being data driven.  Data becomes the cart before the horse, and instead of informing educators it dictates to educators surpress their professional judgment and reducing educators to less than a computer print out in value.

NEA must lead the way in pressing for alternatives to high-stakes testing.  The teacher's judgment must drive education decision and valued ahead of spread sheets.</description>
