Life during wartime

So, the Democratic presidential candidates had a debate. And yeah, we would have liked more of a shout-out for education, which consistently tops voters’ lists of domestic concerns.

But it’s still a long ways to November 2008, and those of us who care about kids and schools will get some undivided attention in the coming months. Stay tuned here — and on NEA.org’s “Time for a Change” site. When the candidates on both sides talk about NCLB, we’ll be listening for you.
